Travel Policy procedures regulate issues such as:
- deadlines for placing orders (dates before the departure),
- travel class (business, economy),
- hotel rating,
- price range for tickets and accommodation for each destination,
- employees’ permission to place and confirm orders in a travel agency,
- ways of reporting,
- ways of monitoring business travel cost,
- ways of payment settlement with an IATA agent.
Travel Policy should be consistent with general business guidelines, company’s aims, strategies and mission.
